Belle Teche Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, LLC is conveniently located on Admiral Doyle Drive in New Iberia, Louisiana, just minutes away from Dauterive Hospital, Iberia Medical Center, numerous doctors’ offices, and the offices of other health care professionals. We believe that all our residents deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Belle Teche realizes that each of our residents has

individual needs, and we specialize in providing the care necessary to fulfill these needs. Our interdisciplinary team works together with each resident’s doctor and associated health care professionals to develop a plan of care tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident. This plan of care is implemented by a dedicated, professional staff trained to meet the highest standards of excellence, while being sensitive to the emotional needs of our residents. Join us at Belle Teche this April as we focus on Vocational Wellness! This month, we're excited to offer a variety of life enrichment activities focused on passions and purpose.

What is Vocational Wellness?
Vocational wellness involves finding personal fulfillment and satisfaction in your work or daily activities, regardless of age. It's about engaging in meaningful tasks and activities that contribute to your sense of identity and community.

Why is it Important and part of our Life Enrichment Life Works Program?
For seniors, vocational wellness plays a crucial role in maintaining mental and emotional health. It encourages social interaction, boosts self-esteem, and fosters a sense of accomplishment. Engaging in purposeful activities can lead to a more fulfilling and enriched life.
