✨VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT✨
Mrs. Pam Brice is a resident of New Iberia and attends Sacred Heart Church. She enjoys spending time with the other volunteers and working at Moms and Babes Boutique! Her favorite thing is matching up the clothes for our clients.

More about me:
I always wanted to be a social worker. I got my degree at USL in 1969. Taught at Mr. Carmel High School from 1970 - 1975. I worked with Iberia Crippled Children for 12 years, LA Probation & Parole for 15 years, LA Protective Services for 5 years, and DA's School Program for 5 years. When I was younger, I worked hard and then played hard.

Thank you for supporting the UPC by volunteering at the boutique! ☺️

Mrs. Amy Simon is a resident of Loreauville and attends St. Joseph Catholic Church. She is gentle and soft-spoken, bringing so much peace to the center. She has committed her time to us since 2022, and we are grateful that she has chosen to spend her retirement with us by serving others!

More about me:
I am married to Todd Simon. Together, we have 5 daughters and 10 grandchildren. We own Village Market in Loreauville. We love to travel. I am a retired elementary school librarian. And I LOVE retirement!

Retired from oilfield sales and was in the school system for 12 years. Married with 2 children, 2 grandchildren, and a devout Catholic.

Mrs. Colette Landry is a resident of New Iberia and attends St. Joseph's Church in Loreauville. During her time with us, she has helped in so many ways, always willing to help. Our favorite memory is her color session with a special little boy who visited the center with his mom.

Very prolife and very faithful to my Catholic Christian faith. Love outdoors and plants/flowers! Love camping and cutting grass! 😆 Hairdresser for almost 37 years. Love people and (healthy) relationships! Eager to volunteer and help more in this and next stage of life, wherever God leads me!

Deputy Ritchey is a resident of Lafayette and attends St. Mary Mother of God Church. He has dedicated himself to the UPC since 2019. He specializes in the safety of the community. He offers instructional sessions to our clients while providing them with car seats for their children. This service is such an asset to the center by providing education and seats to those who need them most!

I like helping people and making them smile. I like walking on the beach and watching the sun set.
