This week members of our Board of Directors, CEO, and select staff traveled to Washington D.C. to participate in the Policies and Issues Forum hosted by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).

With the help of our community partners, we were able to secure increased funding for our community health clinics. Thank you Congressman Cleo Fields for hosting us at the United States Capitol.

We also send our sincerest thanks to Senator John Kennedy, Senator Bill Cassidy, Speaker Mike Johnson, Congressman Cleo Fields, and Congressman Clay Higgins for meeting with us, listening to our concerns, and ensuring our community clinics are able to continue the work of providing comprehensive health care.

As we conclude the month of January and recognize National Glaucoma Awareness Month, Dr. Bryan Granger shares an important message on behalf of the entire team at Iberia Comprehensive Community Health Center.
