Do you know your Super Woman powers? Have you ever considered how much your thoughts about yourself impact your life, even your hormones?

What we tell ourselves and how we think about things, our mindset, has a HUGE impact on our lives. We see so many women in our center who have horrible periods, bad PMS, trying to get pregnant, or having recurrent pregnancy loss, and the words we say to ourselves about our situation makes a big difference.

-- Do we feel heard by our doctors?
-- Are women taught anywhere that our hormones create a pattern of moods over our cycle? We joke about PMS, or dismiss our crankiness beacause of it, but are we aware that we can make it better?
-- Have we ever thought about infertility, miscarriage or debilitating periods as cyclic trauma?

Of course with FertilityCare and NaProTechnology, we can very much address any physical issues that need help. But as I learned more from working through the Woman School training, I started to see how our self-image and mindset play such a crucial role in our lives and health as women. Our negative perceptions about a situation create stress, and long term stress to our bodies does not make for happy hormones! We don't have to just live with hormone issues, or cycle health problems.

We have amazing Super Woman powers - reaching our goals! nurturing others! creating life! feeding our babies! (the list could go on forever really 🤩 ) What are your thoughts about your Super Powers? Want to learn more about this and network with others? My friend and colleage, Kelsey McCrum Roob has started an awesome networking series and she's interviewing me on Thursday, 12/3 at 7:30 Central time. Her series, The Connector, is a group to bring people together while also providing thought-provoking discussions:

"Come ready to meet and learn. For our first event we are excited to interview our guest speaker, Sarah Rooney. Sarah has been helping women for years in the area of fertility care and in recent years discovered the missing piece - mindset! In our brief phone call I was already learning so much from her! I am looking forward for all of you to get to learn from her expertise - and get to meet other new connections as well! Come ready to have your cameras on! This is going to be so fun!"

Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 3rd, 8:30pm EST/7:30pm CST via Zoom

Save your spot here: https://bit.ly/TheConnectorSarahRooney

Come learn how your thoughts and mindset can help your hormones instead of harm them, and how our view of our super powers can transform us!

So let's do this! Share this and let's connect with each other!

Are you familiar with these 4 signs of low progesterone? Learn to chart your cycle well and get your monthly report card from your body! 📝

“Four signs of progesterone deficiency include:
1) short luteal phase or no luteal phase,
2) low temperatures in the luteal phase,
3) fertile mucus in the luteal phase, and
4) spotting in the luteal phase.”

Progesterone is beneficial because it lightens periods. It also reduces inflammation, regulates immune function, and supports healthy thyroid, brain, bones, and breasts.

Do you have enough progesterone? Are you sure?

Four signs of progesterone deficiency include:
1) short luteal phase or no luteal phase,
2) low temperatures in the luteal phase,
3) fertile mucus in the luteal phase, and
4) spotting in the luteal phase.

You can also test progesterone with temperatures or a blood test. Read: "Roadmap to progesterone" 👉🏽https://www.larabriden.com/road-map-to-progesterone/?4signsluteal

We love working with Fertility Appreciation Collaborative to Teach the Science - FACTS! It’s so rewarding to see medical students who want to learn about FABMs and are so appreciative to be able to bring them to their practice!

What happens when a student has the opportunity to hear a FACTS presentation about fertility awareness? “Game-changer!”

Meet Ana-Maria and hear how a chance encounter at a medical conference clarified misconceptions and led to a deeper understanding of FABMs.

If you would like to invite a speaker like Ana-Maria to about FABMs at your school, training program or conference, please do so here: https://www.factsaboutfertility.org/learn-more/educational-presentations/

When things don’t go as planned it’s easy to fall into despair.
When appointments get cancelled, stock markets crash, and tests come back tragic.
But sometimes painful experiences and unexpected changes can be the triggers that lead us toward a far better life than the path we had mapped out for ourselves.

At least 30% of couples experiencing difficulty conceiving receive a non-diagnosis of “unexplained infertility”. It’s a failure of the mainstream medical community to help these people, which number in the millions. And the symptoms of infertility likely signal serious underlying medical problems that not only prevent new life from thriving, but may indicate lower life expectancy and the onset of other diseases yet to be recognized.

Which is why we are organizing the Unexplained Infertility Summit right now.
I’m inviting you to join the movement toward finding real cures for infertility, May 25-27th.

I’ll be joining 20+ health experts including former IVF doctor Dr. Craig Turczynski, egg quality expert Dr. Elisa Yao, NaProTECHNOLOGY Medical Consultant Dr. Monique Ruberu, Clinical Psychologist Dr. Natalie Masson, and Dr. Phil Boyle, President of the International Institute for Restorative Reproductive Medicine.
