You decide you’re a runner again.

Your motivation is strong.
Your calves are not. 😆

When you start running (or increase mileage), your muscles tighten up fast — especially calves, hamstrings, hip flexors, and glutes.

Massage helps:

Feels like everyone is having sinus problems right now…

Try these pressure points for quick relief (bonus if you can dab some peppermint or eucalyptus essential oil on your chest to inhale) :

👃 Bridge of the Nose: Gently press both sides of your nose to help open up nasal passages.

🌟 Between the Eyebrows: Use your thumb to apply light pressure between your brows to relieve forehead tension.

💆‍♀️ Under the Cheekbones: Massage in slow circles just beneath your cheekbones to promote sinus drainage.

💨 Base of the Skull: Press at the base of your skull where your neck meets your head to help reduce sinus-related headaches.

Work these points for up to 2 minutes each.

Hot take about hot stone massage 🔥

Hot stones are amazing for relaxing muscles and helping your body let go of tension… but they’re (generally) not built for deep tissue pressure!

The stones are smooth and flat, so they glide.
They don’t dig.

So if you’re craving that deeper work, the move is:
book a deep tissue massage and add hot stones.

Otherwise you’re kind of expecting two massages for the price of one 😅

“Is that a knot?” People always ask…. Here’s the most simple answer I can come up with:

A “knot” isn’t like a real knot inside your muscle.
It’s not tiny rope tied up in there. 😅

Instead, it’s a spot where the muscle is stuck in a tight pattern — like it won’t let go.

Why does that happen?
• stress
• holding your body weirdly
• overworking certain muscles
• chewing or jaw tension
• lack of movement
• your nervous system being on guard

When a muscle stays tight for a long time, it stops sliding smoothly and feels bumpy or “knotty.”
That’s what people feel when they say “knot.”

Massage doesn’t untie a knot like a rope.
Massage helps the muscle relax and stop gripping — and tells your nervous system it’s safe to release.

So next time someone asks “Is that a knot?”
The honest answer is:
It’s a spot that’s stuck… and massage helps it unstick.

Deep tissue isn’t about pain for the sake of pain.
It’s slow, intentional work that gets into those stubborn spots that won’t let go on their own.

A little intense? Sometimes.
Worth it? Almost always.

If you’ve never had a body wrap, here’s what it actually looks like.

This one is a deeply hydrating wrap — so we’re exfoliating (some places will use a scrub), applying rich body butter, and then cocooning you in warmth so everything can fully absorb.

You’re warm.
You’re still.
Your nervous system just melts.

Other wraps (like mud or detox-style wraps) focus more on drawing out impurities or stimulating circulation.

This one?
Pure hydration. Pure softness. Pure “why don’t I do this more often?”

Add 30 or 60 minutes of massage and this is perfection 🩵
