Today we honor all the Veterans who have served our country past, present, and future. This day is extra special to Jointpro because our very own clinic manager and PT Keegan served in the USMC. He has continued to find ways to stay active and serve other veterans in the Lincoln-Way community. Most recently with his participation in the Warrior Walk. We are so proud of him and honored to know him both personally and professionally.

Have you recently had a surgery or injury? Are you limited in your weight bearing status? Weight-bearing but painful? Limited use of your arm? Come see us to see if Blood Flow Restriction Therapy is right for you. Blood Flow Restriction Therapy has been in use by the NFL since the 2000s and the Japanese since the 1960s as a way of improving strength, muscle size, and preventing atrophy while recovering from various injuries and surgeries. This patient has been non-weight bearing on both legs for the last couple of months due to injuries/surgeries and is reaping the muscle-building benefits of Blood Flow Restriction Therapy - even with simple exercises!

New letters alert for our PTA, Ashley! She recently completed her dry needling certification program through totaling around 60 in-person hours of training! After 7 years of practicing physical therapy, she now has a new and highly effective tool, allowing her to continue providing her patients with the highest level of care and pain relief. A HUGE congratulations to one of our patients, Brian, who is finally graduating PT after 9 MONTHS of grueling treatment and strengthening. Brian has come so far since he began therapy last fall - multiple surgeries and many sweat-sessions later he is now ready to graduate PT and return to full duty. He was always positive no matter how sore he was that day. He was by far one of the hardest workers we have ever had the privilege of working with here at JointPro New Lenox. Brian is truly an inspiration to us all and a solid reminder of why we do what we do. He has gone through tons of stretching, strengthening, dry needling, blood flow restriction therapy, you name it! Please join us in congratulating Brian and wishing him well as he returns to full duty. It was a pleasure working with you Brian! We will miss you! Tear of knee cartilage
Broken knee cap, dislocated knee, ACL, PCL, LCL, MCL ligament damage, all surgically repaired

"When I began therapy at JointPro, I had extensive injuries to my right knee. I was unable to weight-bear on it, and was confined to a wheel chair, a leg brace, and later crutches. The accident that caused this was traumatic and put me into a position where I had to re-learn how to do basic skills like walking. Over the course of nearly a year, the wonderful people of JointPro have given my life back to me. I began my journey unable to stand on my own or walk and I am now able to run! The care provided is the absolute best available and the knowledge of all of the staff is unmatched. I have never met a better group of people, and from day one, I knew I was in good hands. All of the staff are incredibly helpful, compassionate and encouraging. Their support helped me to stay motivated and make steady progress in my healing. I will be forever grateful for their care.
