PTSD
You don’t have to be a war veteran to have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). PTSD may develop after a person has, sees or experiences a natural disaster, a tragic death, or an accident. PTSD can occur upon learning a close friend or relative was exposed to trauma. First responders, medics and trauma professionals are at risk for developing PTSD
Yet, our war veterans do struggle with PTSD and su***de in record numbers. Through studying cannabinoids, PTSD, and cannabis medicine, we are learning so much about the stress response, combat scars, and how to heal from both.
PTSD research shows that cognitive health and the ECS can be maximized when CBD is paired with other holistic healing modalities, such as exercise, “tribalizing”, mindfulness, better nutrition, sleep hygiene and breathwork.
