a wellness life A Wellness Life is a Pilates, Personal Training and Wellness Studio run by Tammy Kershaw, a Personal Coach, Yoga Tune Up® Instructor and Wellness Educator.

I love teaching Pilates. It has helped me personally with a back injury from many years back. I realized after just one session how it helped me immediately. I teach clients in privates, and also sharing time with friends. I also still train some clients with traditional personal training more from a functional standpoint and always incorporate Pilates into the session. I am also TRX certified and

train group classes as well as privates! I recently became certified in Yoga Tune Up®as a teacher and also a Role Model method ® teacher which blends very well into my scope of trainings. I believe that working from the inside out is best to achieve balance in the body. Finding out where imbalances are and working on strengths is what I love to do!

My client Steve is an avid road biker. Rides all over and does centurian rides as well. He was struggling with a pretty intense hip flexor/ quad issue on one side which was holding him back from his full potential as he was in pretty decent pain.

I assessed his movement patterns and gave him a few simple release patterns for certain muscles that were over active and then taught him some simple pre and post mobility and flexibilty things to do.

He was so happy to be pain free and riding like the wind. 🚴‍♂️💨

Why New Year’s resolutions are a waste of time.

Research shows that only 5% of people stick with their resolution after January. That’s why I set monthly intentions instead.

To stay disciplined I recommend finding an accountability partner! Whether it’s a friend, loved one or even a coach. Connect with them in person or over the phone once a week to keep yourself motivated. Research shows you’re 65% more likely to complete your goal when you have one versus when you don’t.

If you’re overwhelmed with your goals, prioritize the one that could literally bring you to tears. Follow your emotions and follow through. You can do it.

Because of I am so many things. First I would like to thank for creating this amazing art form of movement 🙏. It has forever changed me as a human and as an instructor. Pilates healed my body, it also healed my mind and it healed my soul. Just like the title of his book “Return to Life” Through Contrology , I have literally done just that. In the US alone, over 1 billion pounds of pesticides are used, ranking us #1 in the world.

This is why I started following the Environmental Working Groups research a couple years ago! Each year they release their analysis of the most contaminated foods, dubbed The Dirty Dozen™, as well as the least contaminated, known as The Clean Fifteen.
