This crew has been showing up weekly to help at the food pantry. During the pandemic they helped Whalers Helping Whalers with cooking and distributing food and when that closed joined this endeavor of Food to the People. Kudos to our MRC volunteers who woke up early to start vaccinating active duty personnel at the Naval Submarine Base against flu. They all arrived at 5:30 am on Monday and Tuesday and vaccinated over 1500 people. Everyone was so polite and thanked us while we thanked them for their service. This was our 4th year and we were honored to help them.
