Update as of 11/22/2022 at 4:37pm:

The search for the missing juvenile, Michael Breisch, is still underway at this time. New Hampshire State Police will be conducting a grid-based search using their helicopter, which is set to begin in approximately 30 minutes. Sunapee residents are advised to expect a low flying helicopter operated by NHSP during this time. The helicopter will be using an infrared camera system to detect heat signatures in the woods and everyone is asked to remain out of the woods for the remainder of the search.

Today at approximately 8:30am, Michael Breisch (pictured) went missing from the area of Seven Hearths Lane in Sunapee, NH. He left the area on foot in an unknown direction. The Sunapee Police Department, with the assistance of New London Police, Newbury Police, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, Newport Police, Sunapee Fire Department, and New Hampshire Fish and Game, is in the process of conducting a search for Michael.

He is described as the following:
Age: 12
Height: 4’11”
Slender Build
Eyes: Brown
Hair: longer, above shoulder level, brown in color
Clothing: Khaki pants and black jacket with hood and brown shoes.

Residents in the area of Seven Hearths Lane are asked to check out-buildings on their properties, as he is known to hide in confined areas. We’re asking that members of the public stay out of the wooded areas around Seven Hearths Lane to allow Fish and Game to conduct a thorough search with their K9 unit. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office is also flying a search drone in the area. Citizens should expect to see roaming patrols from assisting agencies within town.
