On Thursday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Kevin Burke’s successful return home after his stay at . With the support of our dedicated care and rehab teams, he regained the strength needed for a safe discharge.

On Wednesday, Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center proudly celebrated a major milestone—our 70th Anniversary! 🎉

This special event brought together members of the community, colleagues, and friends for an afternoon of networking, conversation, and plenty of smiles as we honored the incredible history of the Beechwood mansion. What once stood as a private estate has grown into a place of care, compassion, and community for so many over the past seven decades.

Guests enjoyed an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and snacks while connecting with one another throughout the beautiful space. The celebration featured a stunning green, white, and gold balloon arch that helped mark the occasion and added a festive touch to the day.

Owner Steven Vera shared heartfelt remarks about Beechwood’s impact—not only within the facility itself, but throughout the greater New London community over the years. We were also grateful to receive thoughtful words from Representative Anthony Nolan, recognizing the role Beechwood has played in supporting residents and families for generations.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this meaningful moment in Beechwood’s history. Here’s to continuing our tradition of care, connection, and community for many years to come.

Today, residents of came together to celebrate an incredible milestone—Beechwood’s 70th anniversary! 🎊

Our Recreation Director, Mary Rivera, shared the rich history of the mansion and facility, taking everyone on a journey through time. Residents reminisced as they viewed photos of how Beechwood has evolved over the years 📸💭
