☀️🍔 End of Summer BBQ Bash 🍉🎶

On August 29th, Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center gathered residents, families, and staff together to celebrate the end of summer with a fun-filled BBQ! 🌭🥗🎵

The day was filled with delicious food, great company, and plenty of smiles. 💛

🌟 Successful Discharge: Ken Avery! 🌟

Ken came to Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center on 8/12 after a hospital stay for congestive heart failure. He arrived in a weakened state, eager to return to his horse property, family, and friends—but both he and his wife knew he needed to get stronger first.

Through hard work and determination, Ken did just that! In just a short stay, he tripled his walking distance, tackled the stairs, and even had some fun in therapy along the way. 💪🐴

We are so proud of your progress, Ken, and we wish you the very best as you continue your recovery at home! 💙

🌟 Successful Discharge: Hope Muller 🌟

Join us in congratulating Hope Muller on her Successful Discharge from Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center!

During her stay, Hope shared how much she appreciated everyone at Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. She credited our staff and rehab team for helping her return home, enjoyed the wonderful food, and gave a special thank-you to our CNAs—especially Marco—for their great care.

We are so proud of Hope’s progress and wish her the very best as she returns home!

Today, our residents joined Recreation Director Mary for some classic summer fun with water blasters! There were plenty of giggles, a few surprise splashes, and maybe even some “accidental” sprays on staff. 😉 Each joyful moment brings us one step closer to the end of summer — and we’re soaking it all in!

The Alzheimer’s Association is deeply important to Wachusett Healthcare, as we continue to stand alongside those impacted by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. 💜

It was especially meaningful to see this connection tied into their travels, reminding us that our mission and values go wherever we do.

We had such a blast at our 3rd Annual Backpack Giveaway Drive-Thru Event here at Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center! 🚗💨 Families drove up with their kiddos, excited and ready to grab everything they need for a successful school year. 📚✏️

Backpacks came in a variety of colors, sizes, and fun designs — making it extra special for each student to pick the perfect one!
