We are a comprehensive healthcare community specializing in Post-Acute Care and Short Term Rehabilitation with skilled nursing care, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, hospice care, long term residential care, and outpatient rehab services. We are renowned in the area for being able to handle complex medical cases to traditional knee and hop joint replacement therapy.

🌿💙 Stress Awareness Month at 💙🌿

Throughout the month of April, our Beechwood team took time to focus on something incredibly important—stress awareness and self-care. From friendly reminders to take a break, to sharing a laugh with jokes from our administrator, we made it a priority to support one another in meaningful ways.

Staff enjoyed a relaxing coffee and tea bar ☕, participated in a Lunch & Learn, and were encouraged each day to step outside for some fresh air and a walk. Every walk earned a raffle ticket—and today, we celebrated the grand finale! 🎉

Congratulations to Kelly Anderson, LPN, our raffle winner, who received a basket filled with stress-relief goodies to enjoy! 🧺💆‍♀️

Thank you to our incredible team for taking the time to recharge and support one another. Your wellbeing matters—not just this month, but every day. 💙

Whether you’re rooting for Grogu or following the journey of The Mandalorian, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the stories that bring generations together.

🌷💐 Wicked Tulips & Wonderful Connections! 💐🌷

On Monday, we were delighted to receive a beautiful donation of Wicked Tulips, which we happily distributed throughout our building and among our long-term residents. These vibrant blooms brought color, cheer, and plenty of smiles to every corner of —truly tulip-lifting everyone’s spirits! 🌷✨

A special thank you goes to Kathy Starke, who has thoughtfully dropped off these tulips for the past several years. Kathy is a friend of Joan Jirsa on our 2nd floor, and her continued kindness means so much to our entire community. 💖

We are incredibly grateful for gestures like these that help brighten days and bring joy to both residents and staff alike!

💆‍♀️🌿 Stress Less, Glow More! 🌿💆‍♂️

In honor of Stress Awareness Month, Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center welcomed a special treat today as esthetician Angelica from Stels Beauty Wellness & Med Spa visited the building to provide relaxing facials for our hardworking staff. 💖✨

It was a well-deserved moment to pause, breathe, and recharge—because even caregivers need a little skin-spiration to feel their best! 😌🌸 Angelica helped turn a busy day into a soothing self-care experience filled with calm, comfort, and glowing smiles all around.

We’re so grateful for partners who help us support wellness from the inside out!

🌟🏥 Montville Senior Center Health Fair Recap 🏥🌟

Friday, Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center and Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center were proud to be represented at the Montville Senior Center Annual Health Fair!

Alongside other local healthcare vendors, our team had the opportunity to share valuable information, connect with attendees, and highlight the services and support available within our communities. It was a great day of collaboration, education, and engagement focused on senior health and wellness.

Volunteer Spotlight: Our Incredible Community Partners 🌟💙

At Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, we are proud to recognize the many dedicated individuals and groups who generously give their time and talents to enrich the lives of our residents.

A special thank you to professors Katie Kwong and Monica Franzone of Connecticut College, who facilitate student volunteers through their Human Development classes. We are grateful for the 20 students wrapping up their semester with us over the next two weeks!

We would also like to recognize Linda Bettencourt, a longtime volunteer who has built lasting friendships with our residents and truly become part of the Beechwood family.

Mark & Kathy Raybon, through Preston City Congregational Church, have shared over 15 years of compassion and connection with our residents—we deeply appreciate your continued commitment.

We are grateful to Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Tunicci, along with pianist Aileen and Lou, for bringing joy through their monthly hymn services.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Father Eric, Father Toni, and Father Mark from St. Joseph Church for providing monthly Mass services to our residents.

Lastly, we extend our appreciation to David & Linda Goldblatt from Potter House Church of God for their uplifting music worship and song.
