How many of you have tried to install one of these….began sweating….ended up in the seat with all your weight….to still find it too loose……then you start cursing and looking up videos on YouTube?

Been there done that!

Well WPD has two trained technicians that will assist you in making sure your seats are installed correctly. School Resource Officer Robert Winters and Officer Tanner Suplita recently received their certification and are ready to help you….for free of course.

All we ask is that you email them directly to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are not accepted as they do not work every day and every minute of each day. We will have them at some town events soon too, so stand by for those announcements.

Extreme heat is becoming more common, and it’s especially dangerous during pregnancy. Just one day of high heat can raise the risk of serious complications. If you’re pregnant, stay cool and hydrated, avoid strenuous activity, and talk to your ob-gyn about heat safety. Learn more: bit.ly/3G5YLxd

ACOG strongly opposes the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' decision to stop recommending the COVID vaccination during pregnancy, citing clear evidence of its safety and effectiveness in protecting both pregnant individuals and newborns.

📣 New Online Support Group: Join us for Postpartum Rage Support for Moms and Birthing People!

Led by trained peer facilitators, our Postpartum Rage group is here to support moms and birthing people from 2 weeks-2 years postpartum experiencing episodes of intense anger and agitation. Postpartum Rage can look like a sudden explosion of anger, feeling overwhelmed or drowning, and/or being on edge or irritable to the point that these emotions impact your daily life. Postpartum rage is more common than we think and can produce feelings of isolation, guilt, and shame. We want you to know that you are not alone, and no diagnosis is needed to attend.

If you are beyond 2 years postpartum, check out our Support for Parents of One to Four Year Old Children group. The topic of anger and rage is often discussed in that space as well.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS GROUP IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. We allow the first 16 group members to join. Thank you for understanding!
