This Yoga for Men series helps practitioners discover the benefits of yoga that many men think are only available to women. The classes in this series will work on specific points that hinder men and may not get addressed in a standard yoga class. Men who are thinking about yoga tend to focus on their inflexibility and thus may think, โYoga is not for me!โ, but thatโs exactly who should be doing yoga.
Yoga is a centuries old practice that is promoted by professional athletes, coaches, trainers, and physical therapists. Our classes will be a vinyasa style flow class working not only on flexibility but functional strength, stability, breath work, and mindfulness. This series is great if you want to balance and recover from your other athletic pursuits, if youโre looking for injury prevention, or if youโre just looking to move around after your stationary desk job. You will sweat, but you will also be less stressed and more resilient for your busy days.
