Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc.

Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. We are an agency that believes in second chances and the ability of people to find recovery. The path to recovery is not one-directional.

Our empathetic, compassionate staff are dedicated to supporting people in their recovery. We believe that an individual must be motivated to help him/herself, but we also know that individuals need a close-knit system of human relationships to support them in this difficult process. Each of our programs incorporates this philosophy into the clients treatment plan. For this reason, SCADD offers a variety of levels of care to support recovery continuity based on the appropriate intensity of intervention needed. No matter where you’re from or what your story is, we will work to help you find the best fit for your needs.

🕯 Today is International Overdose Awareness Day 🕯

The overdose crisis doesn’t just affect one person or one family—it ripples through our classrooms, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities. It reminds us that our lives are deeply connected and that compassion should extend to everyone.

This year, we honor the lives lost, support those grieving, and take action to prevent future tragedies. Together, we can imagine a new kind of family—one bound by hope, love, and the commitment to protect and care for one another.

💜 We are — and we have the power to change what comes next.

🌟 Congratulations, Jen! 🌟

We’re thrilled to announce that Jen has been promoted to Recovery Technician Coordinator! 🙌

Jen shares, “I am feeling very enthusiastic about this new role! It aligns perfectly with my skills and experience, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue contributing to our team. This is more than just a job for me, it’s my heart.” ❤️

Jen began her SCADD journey almost 4 years ago as a per diem Recovery Technician at Withdrawal Management. From the very start, she knew this was where she belonged. Over the years, she’s brought dedication, compassion, and leadership, earning not only the trust of her colleagues but also the gratitude of the individuals we serve.

“The most rewarding part isn’t just one thing; it’s everything. We’re a family here, making sure no one feels alone when they walk through our doors. Seeing the light return in someone’s eyes… that’s the biggest reward.” ✨

Please join us in celebrating Jen as she steps into her new role, continuing to inspire, mentor, and make a difference every day. 💙 Congratulations, Jen!
