🎉 Successful Discharge: Danyelle Robertson 🎉

Danyelle Robertson was admitted to Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on 2/14/25 and has made great progress during her stay. On Tuesday, she successfully discharged to her new apartment with MFP support, marking an important next step in her journey toward greater independence.

To celebrate her achievement, staff sent her off with a “Harbor Wave” and a clap-out, showing appreciation and encouragement as she transitions to this exciting new chapter.

Today at Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, we celebrated National Superhero Day in the most heroic way possible—with a super-powered, superhero-themed breakfast! Residents and staff suited up in their imagination (and appetites) to enjoy a morning full of caped comfort, tasty treats, and heroic smiles.

From “waffle warriors” to “pancake protectors,” everyone proved that you don’t need a cape to be a hero—you just need a great breakfast and an even greater community. This morning was truly eggs-traordinary and showed that our everyday heroes are always ready to rise and shine! 🥓🍳✨

Join us for another fun and meaningful evening as Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center hosts the second installment of our Happy Hour fundraiser in support of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s! 💜

Friday, Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Care Center proudly supported Purple Up! for Military Kids— dedicated to honoring the strength and resilience of children in military families.

Our team wore purple to show appreciation for the sacrifices these young heroes make every day while their loved ones serve our country. It was a meaningful way to come together, raise awareness, and show our support.

🍰 Cherry Sweet Holiday Treat! 🍰

Yesterday at Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, we cheesecaked the day extra special! Charlotte Wright, our Program Director & Social Worker, along with Nicole Shayne from Recreation, spread some holiday cheer by passing out delicious mini servings of cherry cheesecake to our residents.

It wasn’t just the residents who got to enjoy this cherry tasty surprise—our staff members joined in on the sweetness too! Moments like these remind us how important it is to celebrate together and savor the little things (especially when they involve dessert 😉).

A big thank you to our Dining Services team for whipping up such a delightful treat—it truly made the day un-brie-lievably special!

🍕🎉 A Slice of Happiness at Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center ! 🎉🍕

Our Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center community had a pizza-tively wonderful time celebrating our Facility Pizza Party on April 15th! Residents enjoyed hot, fresh pizza, chips, and soda while sharing smiles, laughter, and memories of their favorite pizza styles and beloved pizzerias.

Yesterday, 4.21.26, Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Beechwood Health & Rehabilitation Center were proud to be represented at East Lyme’s first Senior Center Health Fair!

Alongside approximately 25 other local healthcare vendors, both facilities had the opportunity to share important information, connect with attendees, and highlight the services and support available within our communities.
