Yesterday we started off with “Chair exercise” that turned into get up and dance exercise. 💪 🕺 Then 💦 watering our garden before grocery shopping to build that confidence and utilize our public social skills. 🛒 We can’t forget our budgeting skills. 💸 Our housekeeping skills 🧽 were on point then it was time for a fun outside activity of 💦 water day!! 👏

Building our confidence 💪and practicing our social and boundary skills at the store this morning was fun. 🛒 Hand-eye coordination and following directions for a project was interesting, then guess what? 🪩 It’s FrIdAy‼️🕺

We had a great day!! Watering our vegetable garden while it’s cool. 💦 Housekeeping is a must because who likes a dirty bathroom? 🧹 We loved shopping for a going away party for one of our staff that will move on to other things and to gain confidence and utilize our manners and public social skills. 🛒 🛍️ Then time for her to open her gifts & eat yummy 🍰!! 🤤 👏

It’s hump-day and we’ve had an eventful week! Starting off with admiring the Mississippi River for an adventure nature walk. Taking our imaginations to a creativity level with air dry clay! 👏 Kitchen safety time by baking 👨‍🍳 a 🍓 🍰 for a missed loved one. How about our adventure to the Conservation Center to see the different animals 🐍 🐊 🐟 🐸 🦅 , learn their habitats and practice our public social skills then off for a treat to Andy’s Frozen Custard! 🍮 🍨 😋 One of our favorites…… Coping skills with one of our sister centers!! Then off to The Rodeo Museum! 🤠 What about color recognition and sorting along with hand-eye coordination? 🎨 🖍️

Today, we saddled up and took in all the thrills of the rodeo. A rootin’-tootin’ good time was had by all! Yeehaw! 🌵🎉

We started off with meal prepping and seeing what we need at the grocery store to build our confidence of being out in public along with utilizing our skills. 🥓🥔🧀🥖🥕🥫🫑We had the pleasure of having one of our sister centers join us today. 👏 Reading 📖 skills and showing our peers what we accomplished feels good!! Then off to the grocery store where we feel good about ourselves. 💪

Who doesn’t love the fresh air while walking the park? 😎 Then it was off to skills…… Stranger/Danger, spelling, letter and color recognition, hand-eye coordination and coloring. A little kitchen safety while learning a new recipe then making SLIME! 😱 🫠
