Children under 16 years should not use e-scooters or e-bikes or ride on them as passengers. Non-motorized scooters and bicycles are safer choices and provide opportunities for physical activity.

Meet Our Staff Monday!

Last but not least is our wonderful Director of Clinical Operations, Meghan Bailey!!

Meghan has been part of the FCP family for 9 years and now serves as the Director of Clinical Operations for FCP and our sister sites! Her favorite part of working in pediatrics is caring for newborns and supporting breastfeeding moms—and fun fact: she was one of the very first lactation nurses on staff.

Meghan’s favorite color is green, and she loves Disney’s Belle. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her three daughters. A foodie at heart, Meghan is happiest when traveling and eating her way through life with her husband of 20 years.

Meet Our Staff Monday!

Meet Ms. Julia Fajardo! She has been an RN with Fredcokids for 9 years. You may recognize her name—she’s often the friendly voice answering the nurse triage line! When she’s not helping families complete school forms or offering advice to parents, you can usually find her laughing. And if you work in pediatrics, you know laughter is the best sound to hear!

After 12 years as a nurse, you might be surprised to learn that pediatrics wasn’t her first choice in nursing school!

Julia loves the color yellow, and her favorite Disney character is Tinker Bell 💛🧚‍♀️

When she’s not at work, she enjoys Starbucks, taking walks with her dog, and spending time with her family.

We had Dr. Lee as a guest provider today helping out all the sick kiddos. It was awesome to have him around the office for a bit!

Meet Our Staff Monday!!!

Kat Everitt has been part of the FCP family for 2.5 years. Her favorite thing about working in pediatrics is hearing baby laughs and giggles—they never get old! Kat’s favorite color is purple, and she loves all things pickles.

She is currently pregnant with her second baby and is excitedly looking forward to welcoming him this spring!

Meet Our Staff Monday!!

Sarah Wert has been a wonderful part of the Frederick County Pediatrics family for 1.5 years! She has truly been an amazing addition to our team. Sarah loves pediatrics because she enjoys being silly with her patients and getting to watch them grow over time.
Her favorite colors are purple and yellow, and when she’s not at work, you might find her watching The Incredibles—especially for her favorite character, Edna Mode! A fun fact about Sarah: she is a triplet!
We’re so lucky to have Sarah on our team!
