Special thanks to our dietary manager, Adam, and his team for a wonderful meal and beautiful dining room. Additional thanks to our activities department and all who helped make this a success.
Congratulations to Brittany Harold, LPN, for being a Whatever It Takes Champion!
Brittany is a delight to work with and is always willing to assist our CNAs without being asked. The residents love her and ask for her when assigned to another hallway. Brittany has great compassion for the residents, and she cares for them as if they were her grandparents!
We are thankful for the stories, humor, gratitude and friendship our residents and families bring us. We wish them and everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
Our annual holiday bake sale was a success! 🥧

Wishing you and your family a happy, safe (and spooky) Halloween! 🎃
Congratulations to our Occupational Therapist, Donna Pattie, for winning our recent Whatever it Takes Champion Award!
Donna always goes above and beyond every day to assist residents and associates. Without being asked, Donna always jumps in to help. You will find her passing trays, responding to a call bell or assisting with resident ADL needs, even if they are not on her caseload. Donna will stop whatever she is doing to help staff when they are in need. Donna is flat-out amazing!
When life gets heavy and we lose our footing, we can always count on a Physical Therapist to help us get back on our feet. This month, let’s remember Physical Therapists and all they do to help improve the lives of the people in our communities.
Congratulations to Amber Rohrbaugh, our recent Whatever it Takes Champion!
As the Kitchen Supervisor, Amber puts her heart and soul into her cooking for the residents. After inspecting each and every tray for meal times, Amber visits with the residents, asks them how they are doing, if they enjoyed their meal and how we can improve our service. She even provides birthday cakes for our residents to celebrate! 🎂

Congratulations to our Whatever it Takes award winner, Amy!
Amy is new to our nursing team, however she has hit the ground running and we are very proud of her! This nomination comes from a group of family members whose loved one had transitioned to end of life.
They said, “Amy did a phenomenal job taking care of dad and us. She made the situation better for us. She relieved a lot of our anxiety and we are so appreciative of that!” They went on to describe how Amy made every effort to come into the room through the night checking on them every 30 minutes or so.
We are glad to have Amy as a part of our team with her caring heart and dedication to the ones we serve.

Emma is our latest Whatever It Takes Champion!
She more than just a hospitality aide. Since Emma began working at Life Care Center of New Market, she has become close with many of our residents, learning what they like to drink and snack on when she brings around the hydration cart and spends a few minutes with each of them. She also helps out the activities team with assisting residents to and from various activities and delivering ice cream to those in their rooms on Ice Cream Social days; helps out the nursing staff with straightening up rooms and running errands around the building whenever anyone needs something... And she does it all with a gracious heart and a big smile on her face!
Emma really cares about her co-workers and our residents and shows every day what it means to do Whatever It Takes And Then Some. Since she was nominated, she has transferred into the activities department and is rocking that too!
