Introducing our new Director of Nursing, Pedro Roman!

Pedro began his career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 1997, working in rehabilitation and long-term care settings. In 2000, he transitioned to an acute hospital environment, which inspired him to pursue a career in nursing. While continuing to work full-time, Pedro enrolled in nursing school and earned his Registered Nurse (RN) degree in 2004.
As an RN, Pedro gained extensive experience in high-acuity areas, including a Level I Trauma Emergency Department, Critical Care, Telemetry, and Gastroenterology, while also maintaining part-time roles in skilled nursing facilities. Eventually, Pedro returned to long-term care full-time, initially serving as the night shift supervisor (11 PM – 7 AM) and later promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing, before being promoted to the Director of Nursing.

We are so excited to welcome him to our team!
