Quick manifestation exercise for NYE: write your intentions on a bay leaf and tie it around a green candle (white is next best). Set it in a circle of cinnamon for abundance and protection. I surrounded that with salt for protection and boundaries. Light it up (fire is the quickest transformation element) and send your intentions out to the universe.

Today at 10:03 EST the sun will be at its lowest point (creating the shortest amount of daylight) in the sky appearing to stand still. Thus begins winter solstice (and the longest night). The ancients lived completely in sync with the rhythms of nature, knew her subtle changes and lived and celebrated accordingly.
Calling back the sun is a central theme but so is respecting the magic of the dark, a time for inner contemplation, quiet and community. 🔥
