Tomorrow is our Future Health Care Heroes Event, happening from 4:00–6:00 PM at Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation, located at 19 Poplar Street in New Milford.

We’re excited to welcome families for an afternoon filled with interactive, hands-on fun. Kids can meet local emergency responders, explore emotions at our Social Work Station, perform “check-ups” at our Future Caregivers Training, design their own healthcare superhero, and build a first aid kit while capturing the moment at our photo booth.

One of our long-term residents shared how much he enjoys the friendships he’s built and the experiences he’s had exploring new places around Connecticut—especially those birthday outings for a good hotdog or hamburger. We were delighted to welcome Trenton Tseng from St. Rose of Lima as he shared his 8th grade capstone project with our community.

A familiar and talented face at Village Crest, Trenton has brought joy through many piano recitals, and this visit was another meaningful gift to our residents. Through his performance, recordings, and thoughtful donation of MP3 players filled with music, he created lasting moments of comfort and connection.
