One of our main focuses for our residency program is resident wellbeing. Our residents will have access to our Zen Den which offers a relaxing environment inclusive of massage chairs, aromatherapy and relaxing sound machines!

Nuvance Health Consortium is pleased to announce that the New Milford Hospital Rural Track Family Medicine Residency Program has received Initial Accreditation from the American Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)! This new Rural Track Family Medicine Program is one of only two in the state of Connecticut. We will be launching this new program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The program is currently in the process of recruiting 4 residence for its inaugural class and will be participating in the 2025 N**P match process.
We have been fortunate enough to partner with such a talented and experienced group of faculty and staff to build a unique educational opportunity for our new residents. This exciting news comes after hard work and dedication by many team members and reinforces the need for primary care within our state. We look forward to introducing our new program to the surrounding communities in the coming months!
