Bobbi is a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Tree of Life Assisted Living and has been part of the organization for seven years. She began her journey at Tree of Life as a volunteer at just 14 years old and was inspired to continue in this field by her desire to help others and make a meaningful impact.

In her role as a PCA, Bobbi especially enjoys hearing residents’ stories and values the opportunity to make a difference in their lives each day. She takes pride in building strong, compassionate relationships with the residents she serves.

Outside of work, Bobbi loves to read and is known for being a very fast reader. You may be surprised to learn that she has five siblings. Bobbi credits her mom as her biggest inspiration, as she has always encouraged her caring nature and dedication to others.

Bobbi’s advice to those working in this field is thoughtful and heartfelt: “Always have patience and put yourself in their shoes.”

Ruth is a valued member of the Tree of Life Assisted Living team and has dedicated 32 years to the long-term care field, including the past four years with Tree of Life. In her role as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Ruth is committed to providing the best possible care to each resident, always focusing on dignity, comfort, and compassion.

Ruth was drawn to this profession because of her genuine love for working with the elderly. Her favorite part of the job is making residents smile and helping them feel happy and cared for each day. She believes that small moments of kindness can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Outside of work, Ruth enjoys working on crafts and spending quality time with her grandchildren. One thing you may be surprised to learn about her is that she is a twin. Ruth credits her parents as her greatest inspiration, as they instilled in her strong values of care and respect for others.

Ruth’s advice to anyone working in this field is simple yet powerful: “Take time to listen to the resident. Make the day go good.”

These photographs are truly beautiful, capturing a depth of grace, strength, and lived experience that can only come from a life richly lived. Each image reflects her warmth and character, highlighting the elegance in her expressions and the quiet confidence she carries so naturally. The lines on her face tell stories of resilience, love, and wisdom, and the way she is photographed honors those stories with dignity and respect. Rather than simply documenting her appearance, these photos celebrate her spirit, reminding us that beauty does not fade with age—it deepens, becoming more meaningful and inspiring over time.
