Darrell Hammond, iconic Saturday Night Live cast member and leading voice for mental health, spent time with our NOLA Detox patients and staff, and spoke openly about his journey. Not just the laughs, but the trauma, the healing, and the recovery path he’s still on.

At NOLA Detox, we don’t just talk about recovery — we celebrate it like no one else.

This Memorial Day, we did what we do best: brought people together, honored our heroes, and created joy in a place built for healing.

Hot dogs sizzling.
Hamburgers stacked.
Snoballs dripping.
Water slides flying.
And a whole community moving forward, together.

We remembered those who gave everything for this country and we celebrated the freedom that recovery brings, especially with the veterans who are part of our team and our program.

Let me tell y'all, the NOLA Detox krewe absolutely destroyed Dave & Buster's at our 4th annual employee holiday celebration. Poor restaurant didn't see what was coming.
