We’re always told that intention is everything in spellwork. But is it really?
Yes, your why matters. Immensely. But the tools you choose? The herbs, oils, crystals, and words? They carry the spell, they hold the spirit of the work, they’re not just props, they’re partners.
In my own practice, I take my time choosing the right materials. I listen to what’s needed. I connect with the energy of each element I work with. For me, spellwork is less about control and more about collaboration. Once everything is gathered, the clarity, the spirits, the spell itself, the next piece is just as important. The ability to focus, channel, and actually weave the energy into form. This is where your senses become sacred tools. Your body becomes the altar. Your imagination becomes the bridge. Intention is the seed. But the spell? That’s the soil, the rain, the moonlight, and the tending.
