What do you do when you're preparing for a message from the other side? For me, it's a mental shift upward and over and I click into this receptive state. Focus on the breath. Breathe in through your nose really deeply and fully and slowly and out through your mouth as slowly and fully as you can, with your eyes closed. Do this three times. That alone will shift your energy into a meditative state, ready to receive messages.

I receive many DMs asking, "Are you a real witch?" My answer is, "Yes, I am a witch." So many people are afraid of the word WITCH which comes from history, how there are usually portrayed in movies and TV shows. It is funny as most of the people that were deemed as witches during the Burning Times did not even identify themselves as witches. They were healers, herbalists and midwives.
Witches practice magic through things like spellwork, rituals and prayers. A Witch is someone who is in touch with nature and their own power through herbalism, energy work and psychic work. Being a Witch involves getting in touch with your personal power, working with nature and the Universe to raise and direct energies to bring about positive change.
Now that's not scary is it?

When we think a certain thought, it brings up a certain feeling and that sends a particular energy out into the field, which draws more of the same back to us. If you don't set any particular intentions, with the right level of belief and energy behind them, you just keep observing more and more of the same into reality. But when you focus your sights on something new, work on getting your subconscious beliefs, thoughts, and your energy on board you can manifest your dreams into your reality.
When we think and feel differently, we can create something new in our lives on a quantum level. By envisioning our future selves and experiencing those feelings now, we can bridge the gap between our current state and the future we desire. It's like we're fast-tracking to that new reality by shaping our thoughts and emotions in the present moment.

Happy Beltane! Today marks a special Pagan holiday, one of the eight Sabbats celebrated throughout the year. It falls midway between the spring equinox and the upcoming summer solstice, known as Litha.
During Beltane, nature beckons us with its vibrant beauty, inviting us to take leisurely walks amidst wildflowers and enjoy picnics in sun-kissed fields. It's a time for fertility rituals, where we adorn ourselves with flowers, dance joyously around bonfires, and celebrate the abundance of life.
The key themes of Beltane include romance, fertility, vitality, abundance, and sexuality, as we embrace the natural rhythms of the season.

Crafting sacred environments has been a lifelong pursuit for me. You'll often find me at home, rearranging rooms and curating decor. This practice isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about energy. Sensing the subtle shifts in energy, I rearrange my space to harmonise with my inner self. We all engage in this ritualistic act, whether it's hosting guests, lighting candles, or burning incense. Ultimately, creating a sacred space is a deliberate ritual, a means of fashioning a magical sanctuary infused with purposeful energy.

The pentagram, a five-pointed star enclosed in a circle, is a potent symbol in witchcraft representing the elements of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. To work with the pentagram, begin by incorporating it into your altar or sacred space, either drawn, carved, or as a physical talisman. This symbol can be used in rituals for protection, balance, and invoking elemental energies.
During rituals, you can trace the pentagram in the air with your athame or finger to invoke or banish energies. For protection, visualise a glowing pentagram surrounding yourself or your home, creating a shield against negative forces. Meditate on the pentagram to connect with the elements and balance your energies.
In spellwork, the pentagram can be drawn on parchment or carved into candles to amplify your intentions. It serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all things, helping to ground your practice in the harmony of nature's elements.

Before I start any spell - there are certain things I like to do to get me in the right zone.
Create a Sacred space: I like to have a space that is clean and today, with oils burning, candles, crystals and a nice outfit on. I know that sounds odd, but dressing in the right outfit feels empowering.
Remember you are doing something that is sacred so you want to be in the right frame of mind.
Meditate: Meditation is the most important part of my practice. A great place to start is to sit and close your eyes connecting to your breath. For one minute follow this technique. Breathe in for 5 seconds and hold your breath for 5 seconds. Exhale for 5 seconds and hold for 5 seconds. Do this until you feel centred and calm.
Music: I love music to help me get tiny the zone.
This tends to be chilled playlist or at times more upbeat - depending on what spells I am about to cast.

Pisces Season: Inner
Peace Spell.

You might need:
- A light blue candle
-Orange essential oil, it's a mild sedative and can help you relax after a tough day.
- Dried rose petals, their loving vibration is great to promote tranquility.
- Dried chamomile blossoms. Chamomile is my absolute favourite ingredient for relaxation blends or spells, it is by far the most calming and soothing herb I have ever worked with.

Grind with mortar and pestle the dried rose petals and chamomile blossoms slowly, enjoying their fragrance. Sprinkle them on a flat surface, and leave them for a minute while you dress the candle with orange oil, top to bottom. Then, roll your candle on the dried herbs, and place it on a fire safe candle holder.
Light it up and take a seat by the light of your candle, soaking all its soothing energy.

We are entering right now the season of Pisces, and it's a brilliant time to let go of fear and be present in the moment. One of the best things that I have learned from my anxiety is that anxiety itself is not something that happens to me, but my reaction to what happens to me. Being aware of it has helped me to choose how I respond: Focusing in the present moment, rather than worrying about what will happen next. If what I am worried about can be solved, then, there's no need to be worried in the first place, and if what I am worried about cannot be solved... What's the point of worrying?
