I’ve moved this book club meeting to September because It’s so HOT in New Orleans! If you haven’t read it yet, you have more time! I would so love to discuss this book with all of you, so head to your local library or bookstore and pick up a copy!

I often teach my children and my clients that their mind is like a garden. We must plant positive seeds, water the flowers, and pull out the weeds. Thich Nhat Hanh says it beautifully here. Not only do we need to do it for ourselves, but we should also water others.

Join us for our first Book Club meeting at Turtle Yoga on Tuesday, July 25 for 7pm! The July book of the month is “The Dance of the Dissident Daughter” by Sue Monk Kidd. Author of “The Secret Life of Bees”, this book is a beautiful classic about a spiritual journey to the divine feminine. This book is widely available through the local library in paper, ebook, and audio as well as purchasing through your favorite bookstore. Bring yourself, a friend or meet new ones, and a small snack to share if you are able. This is a free community book club, and we hope you’ll join us!
