Chelsey Noelle Photography

Chelsey Noelle Photography lifestyle family photography My name is Chelsey, and I'm the mama of three amazing boys! Mary of the Woods College in Indiana. I want to get to know YOU!

I've been married to my wonderful husband for ten years, and we live in New Orleans, LA! I have always loved art and photography, and got my Bachelor's degree in fine art for California State University Northridge before getting my Master's degree in Art Therapy from St. Life, the Coast Guard, and motherhood have pushed me into finding different ways to explore my artistic side. It is SO MUCH FUN to capture memories for families through photography. Whether it's first birthday cake smashes, anniversary shoots, "just because" family photos, or adoption and pregnancy announcements, I love catching the personalities and little big moments in life. I live for candids, and love to simply have fun in a session. I want to make sure each member of your family has a great time, and that I capture the little things about them that make them who they are. And yes, this includes your furry family members too. Please feel free to reach out, I'd love to meet you! *also available as a "second" at weddings*

Photography hills I'll die on, part one...
I see at least 3 "I'm getting eloped" posts a day and my soul dies a little each time. 😂 just... you don't "get eloped". You elope. It's a verb. You can celebrate your elopeMENT after you elope. No getting. No got. 😂🤣

I have a question for the photographers out there. How do we handle the change and difference in tone and color on people's screens?? While chatting with my friend, we started comparing my photos here on insta and on my website between our phones. On her iPhone, the colors were heavy on orange and red tones. They look more saturated and warm... On my android, they're much closer to my true edits- more neutral, sandy browns with a hint of warmth. All my work is done on a Mac!! I was surprised at the difference on an iPhone, and no she doesn't have her comfort eye shield/ amber filter on. My whole grid and every example photo looks VASTLY different and let's be honest, clients/ potential clients are viewing our work on their phones. What do we do about it?? 😭

Sand, ocean waves, and golden sunset light? It's the perfect time to come make some memories that last forever. ❤️❤️

I read a thread this morning from a fellow creative on how weird it feels trying to post happy families and love stories and weddings, given that social media and our world are so terribly heavy. That resonated so deeply with me and MAN have I been feeling that. All the photographers in her comments said the same... it feels at odds with the rest of socials to just be over here posting silly things or sweet weddings. But honestly... they need to be posted. We all need to remember there IS still good. There are still love stories. There is hope. I dont make it a secret that my hope is in Jesus. If you're curious about that I'm happy to talk to you about it. But look around you and find the good. Lean into your families, your children, your friends. Turn off socials for a bit (after liking this post of course LOL). But don't lose hope. I'm going to share a favorite verse that I find full of comfort and hope, I hope it does the same for you too. ❤️ "the Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

The greatest gift of 2025 was being entrusted by over 50 families to capture once in a lifetime moments of joy and growth and love. It is my honor to celebrate who you are in moments of vulnerability and strength, laughter and tears. Filling the walls of your homes with irreplaceable memories.

These two were exactly what my heart needed this week. ❤️

The words "thank you" will never be enough. We'll never be able to fully comprehend what these families have gone through. He left 6 months ago.. she was 24 weeks pregnant. He came home Wednesday to a 6 week old. She covered their 4 little ones, labored and birthed their fifth, and lived her first six weeks postpartum without him. He missed his family, his everything for six long months full of uncertainty. I hope the next time we see and thank a service member, we truly *see* them. This often quiet, hidden, daily work.... so often it goes unnoticed and we all need to see it. Ask them their story. Pray over them as they process and readjust and get re-aquainted. It's all so very very big. ❤️❤️ thank you, Davis family, and all of those in service.

Ps Facebook is AWFUL for the quality of photo uploads. If a photo looks terrible lol, click on it and open it full size. For some very odd reason that helps. Here's an example of what I mean!!
