When making a New Year’s Resolution that actually works, it helps to be specific. Sweeping generalizations sound nice but are difficult to implement and generally get discarded by January 15th. We all want to “be more mindful” “live more healthfully” “use social media less”…. Ok, so HOW will you do that?

Creating a resolution that is realistic and impactful means discovering what habits are at the core of what you want to achieve and making that the focus.

My resolution: every morning, upon waking, I’ll take 10 minutes before I look at my phone. During those 10 minutes, I can stretch in bed, write down my dreams, check my planner, journal, or read.

That’s it. 10 minutes each morning. The impact is already phenomenal: I’m getting reacquainted with my favorite rituals. I’m less likely to stare at my phone throughout the day. I finished reading a book I thought I’d be stuck on forever. I feel more present and alive.

It's July 2nd and we have closed out the month with our heads still above water! This is only possible because of the generosity and support from the commUNITY.

Because of your gifts of essential items, monies, business, and support, we are still standing and more certain than ever that our mission is important and worthwhile.
Here are some highlights of how your contribution has made an impact:

-We have joyously welcomed new healers and creators into our space, so we are rent secure for the next month and now offer energy bodywork and massage by
-The office has seen incredible aesthetic improvements with the addition of furniture and appliances. Everyone who enters compliments the vibe!
-We hired THE COOLEST local q***r artist and now have a beautiful mural in our restroom and a new friend.
-The Rainbow Energy Lounge, our first event, was a huge success!
-A 10% boost in clientele

Our future plans include:
-A stacked month of free classes and hangouts
-More chances to stimulate the QueerEconomy with art markets, collaborations, and commissions
-Offering space for other community groups to utilize
-Working with more q***r healers, helpers, and creators to create a haven in the heart of Uptown
