Moira Brott was jogging when she suffered a tear in her carotid artery, the critical blood vessel that supplies blood to the head and brain, a few years ago. She was treated at West Jefferson Medical Center by Culicchia Neurological Dr. David Khoobehi and recovered from the resulting stroke. CNC Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Dr. Andrea Toomer has been working with Moira to ease the residual spasticity or muscle tightness in her foot and knee so she can continue her passion for jogging and exercising.
