Meet Hannah. A mom of four kids...all under six. Families like hers often face impossible choices between caring for children and caring for themselves or getting to work.

Nest changes that by bringing medical, behavioral and social care into the home for the whole family. Families are surrounded with care, and moms get the support they need so they don't have to go at it alone.

🌄 This week we launched in Mohave County, bringing Nest’s in-home and virtual wraparound care to more than 9,000 families. For rural communities with limited access to medical, behavioral, and social care, this is a lifeline. Families can now receive care at home without long travel, wait lists, or fragmented services.

Our Arizona team celebrated this milestone at their monthly Skyline meeting with a Back to School theme. They shared old photos, welcomed new hires like Nurse Practitioner Steve in Mohave, and heard early feedback from families: “Love the convenience of being in my own home” and “Excelente servicio, gracias.”

With this launch, Nest is now available to 18,000 families in Arizona in Maricopa and Mohave through our partnership with Health Choice Arizona. We are proud of our Arizona leadership team — Carol MacLean, Russ Anderson, Mandi O’Brien — and the community they are building.

We're so excited to welcome Paige Franklin to the Nest team as our new VP, Growth.

Paige has been a trailblazer in Medicaid, serving as one of the youngest CEOs of a Medicaid plan in the country. She has led major procurements, expanded care for children impacted by the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and championed innovation that improved the lives of thousands of families.

At Nest, Paige will help us bring our whole-family, in-home care model to even more communities. We cannot wait to see the impact she will make.

Twenty years after Hurricane Katrina, we remember not just the devastation, but the inequity it revealed. Those with resources could leave. Black and low-income families were left behind to survive, to grieve, and to rebuild through unimaginable loss.

We cannot tell this story as one of resilience alone. As Edward Buckles Jr., New Orleans native and director of HBO’s Katrina Babies, writes in his TIME essay, resilience has too often been imposed on communities for the sake of business, not for their well-being.

This anniversary is a call to listen. To honor the voices of those most impacted. To commit to doing better.
