On April 25, 2025, we proudly welcomed our counseling students into the clinical phase of their training during our FIRST annual White Coat Ceremony. This LSU Health New Orleans School of Allied Health tradition honors their commitment to the profession and marks a meaningful step in their journey as future counselors.

We were honored to have our alum, Dr. Megan Long, as our keynote speaker. Her words of wisdom and encouragement inspired our students and community! Faculty, site supervisors, family, and friends gathered to celebrate, and each student received notes of encouragement tucked inside their coat pocket as a reminder of the strong support behind them. 💜💛

We are so proud of our students for embracing this milestone with dedication, compassion, and professionalism. Congratulations again to the Class of 2027—we are so proud of you!
