Chris is officially over the shenanigans… but hey, what’s 397 more? šŸ˜…

All jokes aside, pain with in*******se is not something you have to just deal with. And the good news? There are real, effective options to help.
Pelvic floor PT is a great place to start, and tools like the Ohnut from are just one of many ways we can support our patients. What makes the Ohnut so helpful is that it’s adjustable
allowing you to gradually increase depth as your body becomes more comfortable and pain decreases.

Bottom line: you’re not stuck with this, and you’re not alone.
ļæ½If you’re experiencing pain with in*******se, come see us, we’d truly love to help. šŸ’›

Guilty as charged… of going above and beyond for every patient I serve. šŸ¤

Guilty of late nights, early mornings, and doing whatever it takes to make the process smoother, less stressful, and a whole lot more personal. Guilty of answering the extra call, sending the extra update, and making sure no question ever goes unanswered.

Because to me, this isn’t just a transaction, it’s someone’s future, someone’s home, someone’s next chapter. And that deserves more than the bare minimum… it deserves care, communication, and consistency every step of the way.
So yes, I’ll happily take the verdict.

Guilty of putting people first…every single time.

No one knows their patients quite like a pelvic floor therapist because we’re not just treating symptoms, we’re having real conversations that matter.

From pain to confidence, from fear to freedom…we guide our patients through what’s often left unsaid, like how to experience safe, comfortable, pain-free intimacy again.
This is more than therapy. It’s trust, education, and empowerment where it matters most.

Is your s*x life painful? We would love to get to the bottom of it with you!

Between patients, don’t forget to recharge too. A little break, a quick nap, and some relaxation never hurt nobody. You can’t pour into others from an empty cup. ✨

Hip tightness and low back pain often go hand in hand because when the hips lose mobility, the lower back usually tries to make up for that missing movement. Over time, this can create extra strain, stiffness, and discomfort.

Using a mobility ball can help release tension in the muscles around the hips, glutes, and pelvis while improving blood flow and movement where the body may feel ā€œstuck.ā€ When the hips move better, the low back doesn’t have to work overtime.

Think of it this way: mobile hips = less compensation from the back.
Adding gentle hip mobility exercises with a ball can help:• Reduce muscle tension• Improve range of motion• Support better posture• Decrease stress on the lower back• Help you move more comfortably day to day

Your pain isn’t always coming from where you feel it. Sometimes the solution starts at the hips!

Pelvic pressure isn’t something you just have to ā€œlive with.ā€ šŸ¤

A pessary is a small, medical-grade device that’s placed inside the va**na to help support pelvic organs when they’ve shifted out of place, this is called pelvic organ prolapse. It can relieve symptoms like heaviness, discomfort, and that ā€œsomething is fallingā€ feeling, without surgery.
The best part? It’s a simple, non-invasive option that can make a huge difference in your daily comfort and confidence.

At Pivotal PT & Wellness, we go beyond just managing symptoms, we help you strengthen your pelvic floor, improve support, and feel like yourself again. Whether you’re exploring a pessary or looking for long-term solutions, we’re here to guide you every step of the way. šŸ’›

One thing people don’t talk about with potty training is how kids should actually sit on the toilet. Proper posture makes a huge difference! Kids should be sitting all the way back on the seat, with their feet supported (a step stool works great) and knees slightly higher than their hips. When their legs are dangling, their body tenses up, which can make it harder and sometimes uncomfortable for them to go.

Creating a stable, supported position helps them relax, build confidence, and develop healthy bathroom habits 🚽

When the seat is too big, little bodies find their own way to feel safe šŸ¤

You might notice your kiddo bracing themselves with their hands, tensing up, or even trying to hover not because they want to, but because they don’t feel secure. And when they don’t feel supported, it can actually make it harder to fully relax and go.

A properly sized seat = confidence, comfort, and better potty habits šŸ™Œ

Little adjustments make a big difference in big milestones 🚽

Does your kiddo lean all the way back on the toilet seat? 🚽

It might seem harmless (or just a quirky habit), but it actually tells us a lot about what’s going on in their body. When kids lean back, they’re often trying to stabilize themselves or reduce pressure, this can be a sign they’re having trouble relaxing their pelvic floor or coordinating the muscles needed to go comfortably.

Instead of sitting upright with feet supported (the ideal position), they shift backward to feel more secure… but this can actually make it harder to fully empty and can contribute to constipation or withholding patterns.

According to pediatric pelvic health experts like Dr. Jenny, these small posture habits can be early clues that a child needs a little extra support with bathroom mechanics šŸ’”
The good news? Simple changes, like proper foot support, posture adjustments, and awareness, can make a big difference.

If this sounds like your child, you’re not alone… and there are solutions šŸ¤
