🚫 Myth: I won’t get HIV because I’m heteros*xual. FALSE!
✅ Fact: HIV doesn’t discriminate. It can be transmitted through vaginal s&x, a**l s&x, blood transfusions, sharing needles, pregnancy, or breastfeeding when the viral load is greater than 200 copies/ml.

PEP is like Plan B, but for HIV. 💊
Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) is an emergency medication that can prevent people from getting HIV after a possible encounter with HIV —like unprotected s*x, needle sharing, or s*xual assault.
⏰ Timing matters! PEP must be started within 72 hours of possible HIV encounter and taken consistently for 28 days to be effective. Don’t wait—seek medical advice immediately if you think you’ve been exposed.
✅ After completing PEP, take an HIV test to confirm your status. If you’re negative, consider talking to your doctor about PrEP to stay protected long-term.

In this powerful testimonial, Robert shares his journey with HIV stigma, highlighting how knowledge and awareness can change lives. Stigma, especially when reinforced by laws, creates fear and harm — but it doesn’t have to be this way.
🤝 When we educate ourselves, we empower each other. Knowing your status, understanding HIV, and sharing this knowledge is how we break down barriers and end stigma. Together, we can create a world where no one feels shame or fear because of their status.
💪🏽 Knowledge is power. Take a stand today: learn more, spread awareness, and help end HIV stigma. Visit bouncetozero.com to get involved.
