I know I’m forgetting something?? Can't believe I'm just days away from baby number 2!

But believe me when I say, I CANNOT WAIT to use Tretinoin the second that baby comes out.

If you’ve ever stopped it for pregnancy, breastfeeding, travel, or just life getting busy, you know the feeling. Tretinoin is one of those products that quietly does the most. Smoother texture, less wrinkles, and brighter skin over time. It’s why people swear they look like they’re aging backwards.

And honestly, most women don’t stop because they want to... They stop because getting prescriptions, appointments, and follow-ups feels like a whole thing.

Which is exactly why I’m building Dermclick. Personalized, prescription skincare from a board-certified derm, without sitting in a waiting room or rearranging your entire day. Including tretinoin. From home. In pajamas.

Because good skin shouldn’t require childcare, PTO, or a million tabs open. Sounds pretty great right?

Does your bathroom counter look like this too? The start of the year is the perfect time to clean house. A crowded shelf doesn’t mean better skin, using too many products can cause irritation, and inflammation. Here's how to execute a product purge:

🗓️ Check expiration dates
Most products expire 6–12 months after opening. If you can’t remember when you opened it, that’s your answer.

👃 How to tell if it’s gone bad
Changes in smell, color, texture, or separation = time to let it go. “It still looks fine” is not a scientific measurement.

🧴 Simplify your routine
More steps does not equal better results. Fewer, well-chosen products used consistently will always win.

🧠 Keep what actually works
If it irritated you, broke you out, or you stopped using it after two weeks, send it to the trash.

P.S. This applies to your makeup bag too. Mascara is not meant to see multiple calendar years. Send this to your girlfriend who's still using her makeup from college...👀

Where are my gym goers at? If you think this post is gross… imagine what’s living on unwashed skin 😅

Quick but important PSA especially for my gym people, hot yoga lovers, runners, and anyone living in tight clothes and sweat:

🧼 Yes, your body needs to be washed (not just “rinsed”).
🏋🏻‍♀️ Sweat, friction, and tight clothing are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and yeast. Change out of your gym clothes ASAP!
🚿 Showering sooner rather than later after workouts actually matters.

And no, this isn’t meant to ruin your appetite. The photos are gross, so your skin doesn’t have to be.

Clean skin isn’t high maintenance. It’s basic hygiene with a dermatology stamp of approval.

This one goes out to all my first-time moms out there! I'm at the tail end of my second pregnancy, which has me reflecting a lot on the differences between rounds 1 and 2, so if I could give you any advice, it would be to give yourself more grace -- take more time off, get more help, get that freaking epidural. Everyone does birth their own way, but don't feel guilty if you don't do everything the way you think it's supposed to be.

What advice would you add? We're all in this together 🤍

Comment DISCOVER for the list. You won't catch me without these in my self-care routine in 2026. This includes my literal favorite product for body odor, my new favorite sunscreen serum for sensitive skin, my favorite weight sleep mask, and my favorite growth factor serum. What are you adding to yours?

Words I'll be saying for eternity. That's a close up view of a cancerous mole! Reminder to get your yearly skin checks, so your mole isn't the next one under my microscope. P.S. if you're a doctor, how many times a week do you say this??

Who else’s brain chemistry has been altered by Tretinoin? 😅
And if you’re not clued in… here are the deets:

✨ Gold-standard for acne + anti-aging based on thousands of studies
🧬 Boosts collagen, smooths texture, fades spots
⏳ Works over time, not overnight (patience is part of the prescription)
🌙 A little goes a long way, and yes dryness happens at first

The results are so good you’ll be side-eyeing your mirror like… is this Botox in a bottle? 👀

P.S. This is exactly why I’m building . Easier access to personalized, prescription-level care so getting great skin in 2026 doesn’t require a million steps or appointments.

If your hairbrush is looking like it could be a toupee donation, it's time to clean it out!

Hairbrushes hold excess skin, germs, and, of course, dead hair. I know, one more thing to add to the list, BUT scalp care is skincare and should extend into your self-care routine too. 🤝🫶

She graduated summa cm laude from Centenary College where she studied neuroscience and piano performance, and received her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She then completed a five-year double residency program in internal medicine and dermatology and served as chief resident at Georgetown University Hospital and MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Turegano has a special interest in evaluating how nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, and other environmental factors can play a significant role in inflammation, aging, and cancer. She enjoys incorporating holistic practices in her patients who deal with anything ranging from acne to warts. Given her background in internal medicine, she also has an interest in complex medical dermatology, including autoimmune skin diseases and psoriasis. In addition to practicing dermatology, Dr. Turegano is serving as the dermatopathologist for Sanova Dermatology and is a volunteer instructor at Tulane University in the department of dermatology.

Dr. Turegano has published articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Journal of the American Medical Association – Dermatology, and Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. In her spare time, Dr. Turegano likes to explore what makes her feel present. She enjoys dancing (hip hop mostly), rollerblading, ice skating, tending to her vinyl records (or their Spotify equivalents), playing piano (mostly classical), watching sunsets, hiking, and hanging with her family.
