These kiddos have been with our Slidell clinic since our doors opened, and truly have helped shape the culture and love that defines us at The Thompson Center. Our super sweet Slidell staff and kiddos threw Amanda and I a baby shower today! They (wayyyyy overly) measured our tummies, raced to change diapers, and made us all crack up with balloons under their shirts. We both absolutely love our kiddos and staff, and will miss them dearly on maternity leave.

For the safety of our clients and staff, The Thompson Center for Autism will be closed Tuesday January 21 due to the liklihood of winter weather, including snow, ice, and rain. We will update families on our return to therapy on Wednesday as we assess impacts in our area.

We are so excited to announce that our clinic owners, Kris and Mallory Thompson are expecting their first child in July of 2025. Although Mallory will continue to provide daily care at both the Slidell and New Orleans locations, we have been systematically prepping for a seamless transition into her maternity leave this summer. Our amazing clinic directors Amanda and Ava, as well as our team of BCBAs, students, and RLTs are fully prepared to continue delivering the exceptional and compassionate care The Thompson Center promises to always provide. 💛
