I don’t usually post things like this, but I wanted to give a quick shoutout to my childhood neighbor, Our kids go to school together now, and I've been really impressed with all the work she puts in for the school. She's always volunteering and helping out, making a big difference for the kids.

🤣 Knox is one funny kid - such a sweet and polite boy growing into his own perfect personality!

Autism doesn't define him. He may not do certain things other kids his age do yet, but it doesn't matter
— look at all he can do. He'll get there in his own time.

We push him to keep learning and growing, but we don't wish it was different. His joy is our number one priority, and there's no doubt Knox is full of joy 🤩

🏫 Knox officially starts kindergarten in August! Feeling so blessed, so grateful, so excited, so many feelings…

It’s been a few years of intense therapies, and we couldn’t be more proud of Knox’s hard work. He’s a determined little boy who loves to learn. He’s intelligent, intuitive. He’s super loving, affectionate, funny. His pure joy and laughter are contagious. He’s full of energy and certainly keeps us active too!

Knox is perfect, and one of our biggest priorities for him is to develop confidence in himself.

At St. Thérèse, he'll have the space to be himself and build that confidence. He’ll be able to thrive academically while laying a strong spiritual foundation, and as a family, it’s so meaningful to be a part of such a supportive community.

We had no idea what to expect for Knox after ABA, but there’s a feeling we got when we walked onto St Thérèse campus. God answers our prayers in His time, His way 🙏🏼

📝 Knox conquered a major feat last week — he wrote his first letter independently: K!

Handwriting might not be his favorite task just yet, but after months of practice, he nailed it with some chalk, saying “kick it up and swoop down” 👏🏼🙌🏽

While his accomplishments are incredible, what truly matters is his joy and dedication to working hard. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a testament to his resilience and determination, and to the unwavering support of his incredible providers.

🚜 Knox loves heavy equipment, and watching his excitement when he’s playing in the “little excavator,” as he calls it, is pure joy. But here's the magic: with each playful adventure, Knox isn't just having fun — he's soaking up new knowledge like a sponge!

When learning is incorporated into play activities, children are more likely to remember and apply what they've learned due to the multisensory experiences and emotional connections formed during play.
