During Hospice and Palliative Care Month, we’re sharing a story that truly shows the impact compassionate end-of-life care can have on families. 💜

The Aguilar family’s experience with Hospice of Light is a meaningful reminder of the peace, dignity, and support our team works to provide every day.

Cisco Aguilar’s reflection on his wife Kitty’s care continues to resonate with all of us.

Our sweet Tara passed around some Fall spirit in the form of a candle. That smile would've been enough but we are loving these cute little pumpkin candles! Thank you for your kindness.

At Compassus, hospice care means more than comfort. It means helping patients live fully in every moment that remains.

Recently, Hospice Case Manager Tessie Hilton of Peoria, IL, helped make that possible for Bill, a patient who rarely left his bed. With the support of his care team, Tessie coordinated a special trip to visit his POA’s ranch where Bill met her horse and enjoyed a drive through his hometown.

This simple act of compassion became a lasting memory and a reminder that hospice care is about dignity, joy and connection until the very end. Read more about this care moment at https://bit.ly/3WPO5b0.
