Day 455 outside of Mommy’s tummy
15 Months old
Liam is the sweetest little walking boy that I could have ever imagined having!
He gives hugs, kisses and high fives sparingly but will tell you no and mean it.
Unless you are Baileys, his dog, she gets all the hugs she can possibly handle and more! He loves that dog so much!
He’s a full blown walker now and we hope that it’s promoting excessive cardiac growth in all of the right places!
We met with OT and PT on Monday and he’s meeting his milestones with no concerns at this time.
He’s also starting to say a few words, Hi, ba-e (for baileys), nana (for banana), Gigi (for his great granny); he signs more and all done in the right context, points to what he wants, prefers straws over sippy cups, fed himself yogurt and spaghetti last night using a spoon (not at the same time lol) and loves blue berries!
At daycare he walks in by himself and waves bye bye to mommy with no tears; they lay his nap mat on the ground and he walks over and lays down for a nap with no pacifier and doesn’t need to be rocked or patted (this is not the case at home…I usually rock him to sleep and might cry if he didn’t want to be rocked to sleep).
He loved his first Mardi Gras and l loved watching him enjoy every moment of it. Being his mom is so much better than I could have ever dreamed…and trust me, I dreamed of being a mom for many many years.
We see his cardiologist in New Orleans next week so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!
