DCHC is excited to welcome Dr. Emily Vigour as a Pediatrician!

Dr. Vigour joins DCHC Algiers after years of dedicated pediatric practice across the Greater New Orleans area. Board-certified in Pediatrics, she earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed her residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. Her previous work at Manning Family Children’s Hospital and Vigour Pediatrics has focused on comprehensive child health.

DCHC's Nurse Practitioner Residency Program is in full swing, and our residents are continuing to build their skills and knowledge.

They began their year-long journey with a dynamic three-day orientation in Middletown, CT, an immersive experience designed to lay the groundwork for professional growth and community impact.

During orientation, residents explored essential topics such as history and population health, quality metrics, trauma-informed care, chronic pain management, and more.
