DePaul Community Health Centers was proud to join XULA’s College of Pharmacy and Office of Wellness for their World AIDS Day "Canvas of Change: Art, Awareness & Action" event. The evening brought together local artists, students, community advocates, and partners for an inspiring night of reflection and education.

We are grateful to have received a Certificate of Appreciation from Xavier University for our consistent partnership and continued commitment to strengthening HIV awareness, resources, and support in our community.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, connected with our team, and helped amplify the importance of advocacy and access to care.

DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC), in partnership with the Marine Corps Reserves’ Toys for Tots program, The American Culinary Federation – New Orleans Chapter, Thrive New Orleans, Alpha Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and additional community partners, is proud to announce the return of its annual Christmas Toy and New Clothing Giveaway. The event will be held on Saturday, December 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thrive Community Center located at 3600 Desire Parkway, New Orleans, LA 70126.

The giveaway is free and open to the public, providing toys and new clothing to children between 3 and 13 years of age. Items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and children must be present with a parent or guardian in order to receive items. No pre-registration is required. Children will also have the chance to take a photo with Santa and receive a printed copy on the spot.

DCHC is excited to welcome Dr. Emily Vigour as a Pediatrician!

Dr. Vigour joins DCHC Algiers after years of dedicated pediatric practice across the Greater New Orleans area. Board-certified in Pediatrics, she earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed her residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. Her previous work at Manning Family Children’s Hospital and Vigour Pediatrics has focused on comprehensive child health.
