Through three New Orleans locations in Carrollton, Gentilly, and St. Cecilia, DePaul provides essential dental services with a strong focus on pediatric care. By offering preventive and early treatment, we’re helping children build a foundation for healthy smiles, regardless of cost or access.

Each year, DePaul also hosts Give Kids a Smile Day at our Carrollton location, providing free dental screenings and fluoride treatments for children ages 1–10. Check out the video from our most recent event.

DePaul's President & CEO, Dr. Griffin, who also serves as Immediate Past President of Louisiana Primary Care Association's (LPCA) Board of Directors, joined DePaul's Vice President of Mission Integration, Matthew Picard, for LPCA Day at the Capitol. They met with state representatives, highlighted the importance of education in health care, and were recognized on the House Floor for the work DePaul does in the community.

According to the Louisiana Department of Health, 86% of parishes in our state are "Dental Health Professional Shortage Areas," meaning the majority of Louisiana residents lack access to the dental care they need. DePaul is actively working to change this by providing dental services at three of its locations, helping underserved individuals and families receive the care they deserve. This includes pediatric dentistry, ensuring children can access early, preventive treatment that sets the foundation for lifelong health.

As part of Give NOLA Day, we are raising funds to expand pediatric dental services. You can make an impact by participating in early giving on April 18. Every donation counts!

The 12th Annual Keeping Our Promises Gala was a success, bringing together community leaders, partners, and supporters for an evening dedicated to advancing compassionate, high-quality health care across our region.
