To assist these officers—who are often the first to arrive in critical moments—we’ve donated life-saving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). These devices help provide immediate care during cardiac emergencies, bridging the gap until EMS arrives and ensuring faster response times when every second counts.

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, Jeffrey Kuo, MD, MMM, system medical director of emergency management and security and system chair for EMS at Ochsner Health, and Dawn Pevey, CEO of system centers of excellence & service lines for Ochsner Health, participated in the presentation to deliver the donation.
