Training alongside chiropractors and acupuncturists and studying many different massage modalities provided in-depth experience and understanding

of muscles and how they function. Injury recovery and Pre/Postnatal are my massage specialties. After working alongside chiropractors and physical therapists for many years I am able to develop my own personal wellness plans that are uniquely tailored for each of my clients. In 2015 I took a 4 month break from my massage practice to embark on a personal journey to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. A new and deep love for the Pacific Northwest resulted in a move to Bend, Oregon with my partner in early 2016. During the ensuing years we have experienced many wonderful adventures, gained an even greater appreciation for the beauty of this region and community and welcomed our first son in 2017, and our second arrived in 2021. Awaken Massage is my way of sharing my love for this community by providing customized wellness care to my clients. With over 10 years of clinical experience I am able to give clients a clinical massage while adding my own personal holistic touch. As a mother I know how important, but hard, it is to find time to take care of ourselves. The first step in making a change towards improved health is making an appointment. I wanted to take a moment to chat about something that’s tough for me to address—my cancellation policy. As much as I love what I do, I really hate having to implement these rules, but it’s necessary for my business.

Life happens, and I completely understand that sometimes things come up unexpectedly. That’s why communication is so important! Here’s what you need to know:

🔹 **Last Minute Cancellations:** If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, there will be a 50% service charge.
🔹 **No Show Appointments:** Missing an appointment without contacting me will result in a 100% charge of the service fee. This helps me ensure fairness for everyone looking to book.

I truly appreciate your understanding, as this is my livelihood and passion. Together, we can make sure everyone gets the care they need!

My massage practice began in 2009 with integrative coursework from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota. Training alongside chiropractors and acupuncturists and studying various massage modalities provided me with an in-depth understanding of muscles and their functions. My primary focus was on Janet Travell's trigger point therapy and deep tissue techniques. Specializing in injury recovery and Myotherapy, I have spent years collaborating with chiropractors and physical therapists to develop personalized wellness plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

In 2015, I took a transformative four-month break from my practice to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, which deepened my love for the Pacific Northwest. This journey led me to relocate to Bend, Oregon, in early 2016. Since then, I've embraced the breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Northwest region, enjoyed countless adventures, and celebrated the joys of motherhood with the arrival of my first son in 2017 and my second son in 2021.

In 2021, I founded Awaken Massage as a heartfelt way to give back to the local community, offering customized wellness care to my clients. Drawing on over 15 years of experience, I built this practice with a vision of blending clinical massage techniques with a personal, holistic approach that nurtures both body and spirit.
