At Fairview Treatment Center in Bayou Vista, we provide short-term residential treatment for adults seeking a structured, supportive environment to begin recovery. Our 28-day program focuses on stabilization, skill-building, and preparing each person for the next phase of care because recovery does not stop at discharge.

For women who are pregnant or parenting dependent children, our Claire House program offers residential treatment that allows mothers to stay with their children while receiving care, helping families heal together in a safe and supportive setting.

Last week, OHL CEO Ed Carlson, Program Director Robert Chandler, LBS Program Manager Tiba Hankton, and Policy & Advocacy Manager Lonnie Granier met with the Louisiana Department of Health alongside Covenant House New Orleans leadership to discuss opportunities for funding and policy improvement to better help serve individuals experiencing homelessness. OHL sees strong alignment in our missions and we believe there are meaningful opportunities for collaboration that can strengthen pathways to care, improve service coordination, and ultimately lead to better long-term outcomes for the populations we both serve.
