Between figuring out how to post after not posting and the holiday machine revving up I thought it was time for a little unwind and reset. So tomorrow, Saturday at 9 AM PST or 12 PM EST come and join me with a cup of chamomile tea. I'm gonna walk you thru a plant spirit medicine meditation, and really that's gonna be are you sipping tea me and me playing the sound bowls for 15 minutes to reset you. It’s hard to put into words how special this project was.

Every day, in 115° heat, a team of wildly talented artists showed up and got 60 people through the works in under an hour and a half. Tattoos to cover, dirt and blood to apply, sweat to manage—an army of artists who did it all with grit, humor, and heart.

There’s no world in which I could’ve done this without —my other brain, my person to laugh and cry with, and one of the most gifted artists I know.

I’ve never felt this level of camaraderie or support in a makeup team. Every single person gave everything they had, and somehow, we still had fun. The cast was a dream, the performances were breathtaking, and watching it all come together—it’s something special.

This was the hardest and biggest job I’ve ever done. And I’m so proud—of the work, the story we told, and the people I got to walk alongside.

Tomorrow start with the same breath upon waking. Protein first, coffee after.
