Parade routes are long, the beads are heavy, and the steps add up fast. Mardi Gras season is a great reminder that movement matters.

Walking, dancing, and staying active, even in small ways, can help lower cancer risk and improve overall health. Whether you’re chasing throws, pulling a wagon, or just enjoying the music, every step counts.

At the LSU LCMC Health Cancer Center, prevention doesn’t have to be complicated. It starts with habits that fit real life across every parish in Louisiana.

During Mardi Gras, we love a good mask. But when it comes to your health, don’t hide what matters most.

Routine cancer screenings can catch cancer early, when treatment is most effective.

This Mardi Gras season, take off the mask and take care of yourself.

Schedule recommended cancer screenings and know your risk.

💜💚💛 Protect your future because the best time to catch cancer is before it becomes cancer.
