Therapydia Midcity is excited to announce that Shyanne Bavaret has joined our midcity team as our new clinic coordinator!! Shyanne has a medical assistant certification from Delgado and has been working in healthcare for the last 8 years. She is excited to bring her skills, experience, and passion to contribute to the growth and success of Therapydia Midcity. Shyanne enjoys fishing, bowling, and baking in her spare time. She also has two dogs and a toddler that keep things exciting at home! We are thrilled to have Shyanne take on her new role at Therapydia!!

We are so proud of our very own Pelvic Health Physical Therapist Dr Amanda Fitzgerald for participating as a panelist at the documentary film screening for at LSU in Baton Rouge!

The film produced by is a documentary following individuals with endometriosis, it raises awareness of the struggles patients endure to get a diagnosis and treatment. 1 in 9 women/folx assigned female at birth have endometriosis and on average it takes 6-10 years to get a diagnosis.

Amanda shared her knowledge and expertise to advocate for pelvic health physical therapy in treating endometriosis patients.

Motivation Monday

It’s a gorgeous crisp day on this first day of spring! City park is a short walk away from our Therapydia MidCity location, and it’s Dr. Fitzgerald’s favorite place to be over the lunch break!

Routine can reinforce healthy habits, and walking in nature has many physical benefits: cardiovascular, joint mobility, aids in digestion, reduces blood sugar, increased energy levels, improves mood, reduces stress and tension.
