Reiki to remove deep traumas.
Trauma can manifest physically as many different ailments the most common symptoms are headaches, muscle tension, fatigue, digestive issues, changes in heart rate and breathing. Our sleep can get disturbed. We can have chronic pain issues. Other physical symptoms can manifest as sweating shaking dizziness and also changes to our vision. We can be in a constant state of alert which makes it difficult to relax. On the other hand we can feel numb, detached, and have difficulty connecting to our emotions. Changes in hormones, immune system dysfunction, and increase sensitivity to pain are also common symptoms of trauma. Trauma can alter the way our brain processes information. This can lead to changes in memory, emotional regulation, and other cognitive functions. Long after a traumatic event occurs the trauma can be stored in the body and leading to physical symptoms later in life.
This Reiki session concentrates on the psoas muscle. The psos muscle is known as the muscle of the soul. It is believed to constrict during traumatic experience, or when the body perceives a threat. when we receive a threat we go into fight flight freezer Fawn response and RPS OAS muscle contracts to protect itself.
It also concentrates on the pelvic floor muscles trying to be stored in the pelvic floor causing muscle tension, pain and dysfunction. This can impact urination, bowel movement, and sexual function. Our pelvic floor muscles are a crucial part of the body stress response system. When Facebook trauma or chronic stress the body can change these muscles. This can lead to Sharp, doll, constant, or intermittent pain, urinary dysfunction, frequent urination, difficulty starting or stopping the flow. Sometimes it can lead to incontinence. I will just function like being constipated, straining, or incontinence. Then it also can lead to sexual dysfunction, which can lead to pain, or the inability to want or enjoy sexual activity.
The jaw can store trauma stress and anxiety. This can lead to jaw attention and pain. You want to release these muscles so that we do not cause a chronic condition like tmj.
The diaphragm holds emotional states like sadness, fear, anxiety, anger. The interaction between respiration, and emotion is a complex interaction between brain stem, and brain centers such as the limbic area and cortex.
