It's graduation season, and TUSTEP is thrilled to recognize our graduating seniors! Today, we're recognizing our graduating executive board members and raisers.

Cally, Jen, Jessie, Kaitlin, Kelly, Leila, Meredith, Olivia, and Zadie have done incredible as a part of TUSTEP, and we are so grateful for their care and dedication! These incredible TUSTEP members have been hard workers, inspiring community leaders, and valuable contributors to the club!

To our seniors, we can't wait to see to see all the great things you accomplish as you graduate from Tulane 🩵💚🤍

Jetta, Joelle, Newton, and Nola from our 10th generation have all graduated! We are so incredibly proud of these pups and their raisers :) Thank you to everyone who made raising these successful working dogs possible and to everyone who loves these furry friends as much as we do.

Jetta graduated as a facility dog for a TX police department's counseling unit!💛 Joelle graduated as a skilled companion for a teen in the SCR!🧡 Newton graduated as a service dog for a young woman in the SCR!💙 Nola graduated as a facility dog for an attorney in SCR who works with child SA survivors!💜

This is TUSTEP’s most successful generation yet — with a 100% pass rate for the first time ever! Congratulations again!

All tabling is on McAllister (except for Monday which is under stern), and will be clearly labeled with a TUSTEP banner on the table!

It’s that time of the year: TUSTEP’s WaveStarter starts TODAY! That means it’s the first day to donate toward feeding future service dogs at TUSTEP!

Now through April 27th, you can donate toward a fund for food and treats for our dogs. These donations go DIRECTLY to our raisers, to pay for dog food; over the course of a raising commitment that can be up to 18 months, our raisers pay out of pocket for dog food! This fund will help alleviate that cost and enable us to raise more future service dogs.

You can donate at our WaveStarter link, in our bio! It’s also full of more information about the campaign and why you should donate. Please share with friends, family, and anyone who may be interested to help us make a difference for our raisers!

It’s that time of year again— WaveStarter is coming up! Our campaign this year, dedicated to funding the purchase of dog food and treats, is going live in just 2 days!!

The WaveStarter campaign raises money that goes DIRECTLY to raisers and dogs, and takes some of the financial burden of puppy raising away from students who pay out of pocket for dog food. We are excited to remind y'all that we are having an ADA trivia night from 6:30 to 8:30 PM tomorrow (Monday 04/08) in Paul Hall's auditorium! If you missed the notification in your email, this event in Paul Hall's auditorium will be a team trivia competition focused on the ADA and service dogs. There will be food from Barracuda tacos :)

We can't wait to see you there tonight!

TUSTEP will be walking dogs for Zeus’ Place on Saturday, April 6th. Meet us at Zeus’ place (2520 napoleon ave, New Orleans, LA 70115) at 9 am for a fun walk with friends. After our walk, we will be taking an optional trip to Humble Bagel for a nice brunch around 10 am.

Passionate about TUSTEP? Wanting to get more involved? We are holding elections for TUSTEP’s 2023-24 Executive Board positions!!

There are six positions up for election: President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Director of Marketing, and Director of Engagement. To apply for a position, you must send in a platform speech, contact the current position-holder to discuss the position’s responsibilities and complete a written application. Please note that to run for President-Elect, you must be a current or selected Puppy Raiser, Committee Head, or current/past Executive Board member.

We will be hosting a TUSTEP "Bark" Mitzvah, AKA Shabbat, with Tulane Hillel this Friday (March 8th) at 912 Broadway (Hillel Mintz Center)!

Hillel's services will be held at 6:30 pm, and dinner will be at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome regardless of religious affiliation or identity.
