Revision Deep Plane Facelift – 20 Years Later
This amazing patient came to me after a facelift done 20 years ago that never met her standards. The scars were poorly placed and visible in front of the hairline, there was unnatural skin tension creating ruffles near the ears, and the original surgery relied on the weak skin layer to lift the deeper facial structures which is why it gradually lost its effect over time.
I performed an extended deep plane face and neck lift. Revisions like this are technically demanding because I had to work within the exact incision pattern from her first surgery. Using the deep plane technique allowed me to finally deliver the natural, elegant result she had hoped for all those years ago.
This approach doesn’t rely on skin tension to hold everything up. The results are designed to stand the test of time. No “tuck-ups” needed. Just a more sculpted neck, reduced jowls, softer lower face, and overall more youthful, refreshed appearance.
