WELCOME TO THE team, Ashley! Ashley Stewart, LCSW, is a compassionate and experienced licensed clinical social worker dedicated to empowering individuals and families through trauma-informed, strengths-based care. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from the Southern University at New Orleans Millie M. Charles School of Social Work, where she developed a strong commitment to advocacy, equity, and community-centered practice.
Her professional background includes providing services to students within special education programs, where she collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to address emotional, behavioral, and social barriers that impact learning and overall well-being.
In addition to her work in schools, Ms. Stewart has significant experience working within permanent supportive housing programs, assisting individuals and families experiencing housing instability in achieving long-term stability, independence, and improved quality of life. She has also provided dedicated support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping clients build life skills, access community resources, and strengthen autonomy through person-centered planning.
Ms. Stewart is committed to creating a safe, affirming therapeutic space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Her clinical interests include trauma recovery, life transitions, emotional regulation, family support, and strengthening resilience among children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about helping clients navigate challenges while fostering confidence, stability, and meaningful personal growth.
