Things that are true: parenting is hard, and talking to kids about God is especially hard! The Little Box of Good News equips you to have conversations with your family about faith. Each quarterly subscription box arrives with a booklet that describes a particular faith concept and then details six activities to help you and your children to understand how God works in yourself, your home, your family, your community, and the world. One mama recently described the Little Box of Good News as "something we get to do, not something we have to do." Some families choose to do an activity every couple of weeks, and some families do them all at once. This is a truly a "move at your own pace" group project, just like life can be. Most of us grew up thinking of Lent as a season of giving things up, like chocolate or fried foods. Now as adults, we "sacrifice" social media or that second cup of coffee. But does the practice of less caffeine give you more God? Are you replacing screen time with prayer or community service? While fasting has its place, the ancient tradition of Lent invites us into something even richer: a season of intentional growth.
